How much will my heating bill be?
I live in a 2 bed end-of-terrace upstairs flat/maisonette. We have no insulation and can’t afford it. We freeze when the heating is off!! We have the heating on for about 8hrs per day. How much is the gas bill likely to be per month? (v.roughly!) I really don’t have much of a clue.

i have a 3 bedroom house and my heating is on most of the time and i pay around £50- £80 pm..i make sure my thermostat is at around 2 which keeps it just right and i make sure all doors are closed so if you nip to the bathroom make sure you close the door of the room you have just left, or alternatively if your flat is really cold try leaving the thermostat at 1-2 and don’t turn your heating off at all. if you don’t want a huge bill you can arrange with your gas company to pay weekly or fortnightly.

get a job on nights and sleep all day then you wont need the heating on so much also you could by all of your family an army greatcoat
